| WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM CHAMPIONS MEET TO TACKLE THE FUTURE OF BUSINESS |

The Annual Meeting of New Champions provides a platform for the world’s top executives to engage with global movers and shakers to shape the future of business. Organised by the World Economic Forum together with the Chinese Government, this year’s meeting was held 10-12 September in Dalian, China, and focused on the role that global organisations and multinationals are playing to drive future growth.
World Television’s production team filmed for three days at the event, producing an impactful 60 second overview of the Meeting’s highlights, which was shown on the final day of the conference at the Closing Plenary.
On their return to London, the team used the footage to edit a five-minute highlights package, set to music and incorporating comments from international CEOs and other prominent political leaders. This video sits on the World Economic Forum’s website, and will be used by its marketing department to target thousands of stakeholders and potential participants.

| FAMOUS FOOTBALLERS SCORE FOR CHARITY |

Manchester United marked the end of their Asia Tour 2009 by putting their shooting skills to the test. Hublot, the club’s official sponsor, challenged several of the team’s best players to score money for charity by kicking a football from the shore of the ‘West Lake’ in Hangzhou, China, into a bulls-eye moored in a boat 16 metres offshore.
For each goal scored the Swiss watchmaker promised a donation of $250,000 to the HOPE foundation, a non-profit organisation that raises funds to help educate underprivileged children in China and Hong Kong (see www.hope-ef.org). The event also marked the launch of two spectacular Hublot watches – the latest edition of the ‘Red Devil Big Bang’ and the brand new ‘One Million $ Black Caviar’
World Television produced B-Roll footage, interviews with the stars - including Sir Alan Ferguson, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra and Ji-sung Park - and covered the press conference publicising the event (see the Multimedia News Release in English and Chinese). We also created a short, sharp and stylish highlights video of the event, which was sent out to the top video-sharing portals including YouTube, Yahoo Video!, Revver and Metacafe.

| CLEAR GROWTH PLAN IMPRESSES ANGLO AMERICAN INVESTORS |

In order to demonstrate a clear growth strategy to its investors, and highlight the experience and ability it has to deliver value from its project pipeline, Anglo American commissioned a short video ‘Growth Strategy in Action’ to support its recent Interim Results announcement.
The film features CEO Cynthia Carroll and Anglo American’s Leadership team describing the development and strategic benefits of three strong growth projects:
- Los Bronces Expansion: copper, Chile
- Barro Alto: nickel, Brazil
- MMX Minas Rio: iron ore, Brazil
All three projects are on track and well-timed to enter production. Presented together, they make a compelling case for the company’s growth strategy.
World Television filmed key interviews at Anglo American’s headquarters in London, illustrated by original high-quality material shot on location at the different projects. Our production crews braved equatorial conditions in Brazil and sub-zero temperatures on mountain tops in Chile to turn the film around in less than four weeks – from concept to delivery.

The 2009 Design Lab awards show was held as part of the 100% Design exhibition in London on 24 September. In addition to managing and producing the show, which included live and on-demand webcasting of the whole event, World Television filmed and edited a number of videos leading up to it:
